Or Zarua: Reconstructionist Havurah of the East Bay, is a group that began in the Spring of 2004 in order to bring a Reconstructionist presence to the East Bay Jewish community. Members of Or Zarua are committed to be an inclusive community based on Reconstructionist principles and practices. Or Zarua events focus on t'filah (religious services), adult study and family/community events. Or Zarua is affiliated with the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation (JRF)

Generally Or Zarua conducts Shabbat shacharit services on the first Saturday of each month.
Saturday August 4: shacharit service - location TBA.
Saturday September 8 Slichot service at Marcia's 7pm
Saturday September 15th 2pm to Sunday September 16th Or Zarua Retreat in Tilden Park
